Through the Faculty of Sharia and Law, DSU managed to organize a Quran competition, among the students from different faculties of the University. DSU was invited by Imam Shafie University to attend the Afur that was arranged by the Mualim Nur Foundation. Dr. Osman has to represent our University since its part of the Association of Somali Universities.

We are delighted to notify you all that Leadership Magazine in Somalia has selected Dr. Osman Mohamed Hassan, the Chancellor of Daaru Salaam University, as one of the Top 100 Somali Leaders – 2023. This took place in the Jazeera Hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia, on March 8, 2024.

Daaru Salaam University is now a full member of the Association of Somali Universities. This opportunity creates a landmark and a significant step to the development and cooperation with our universities around the nation.

DSU was part of these esteemed universities that received training on how to use the Higher Education Management Information System. This involved how to use the system that all universities are supposed to use in registering their students.
