10TH CONVOCATION OF DAARU SALAAM UNIVERSITY

Date: 30th September 2026

Time: 7:00 AM

Venue: Royal Palace Hotel, Mogadishu, Somalia

It is with great joy, pride and gratitude that I extend my warmest goodwill message to the graduands, parents, guardians, faculty, staff, partners and friends of Daaru Salaam University (DSU) on the occasion of our 10th Convocation.

To our 2025/2026 graduands: congratulations! Your success is the fruit of determination, discipline, sacrifice and faith. You studied through challenges, and today you stand as proof that education remains the strongest tool for building a peaceful, just and prosperous Somalia. As you step into the world, I urge you to lead with integrity, serve with honesty and use your knowledge to uplift the poor and strengthen public institutions. The nation needs graduates of character who will resist corruption, uphold the rule of law and build with courage and compassion.

To the parents and families: thank you for your prayers, patience and support. This achievement belongs to you as well.

To our lecturers, researchers, administrators and e-learning team: thank you for your dedication in teaching, mentoring and guiding our students, both on campus and through our postgraduate and e-learning programmes.

To our partners, embassies and guests: we deeply appreciate your friendship and support for higher education in Somalia.

May Allah bless every graduate, guide your steps and make your knowledge a source of benefit to your families, your communities and our beloved nation.
