While the festivals are still going on in the Islamic countries, and the commemoration of the birthday of our prophet Mohamed (PBUH) in the month of Mowliid, was held today at the center of the central campus of Daru Salaam University, an event which was greatly organized, which was commemorating the birthday of the prophet.
The former head of Galmudug government, Dr. Sheekh Mohamed Shaakir Ali Xassan who is among the great Somali scholars.
Also, the ceremony was attended by the chairman of the upper council of Somali scholars Sheikh Aadan Macalin Abukar Osman “Sufi Yare” and other big scholars including Sheikh Maxamuud Sheikh Abdull-baari who is the chairman of general council of Somalis scholars.
The birth of Prophet Mohamed was light and new to this world. Our prophet has given us a lot of good things and good instructions that should be emulated.
We ask Allah to make us those who follow his path.
